Wondermondo is reviewing the world by 284 countries and territories. Some territories (f.e. Alaska) are parts of other countries, some (Guadeloupe) – overseas regions, there are multiple other statuses as well. Most (198) are fully independent countries.

North America

A continent with 23 independent countries and 22 other territories. Alaska – a distant state of the United States and the disputed islands – Bajo Nuevo Bank (Petrel Islands) and Serranilla Bank are reviewed separately as well.

Two subregions – the Caribbean and Central America – are reviewed separately.

Here it is divided into 41 territories that are listed by sub-regions – Australasia, Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia.

The continent of Antarctica and 14 island territories in the Southern Hemisphere that have not been grouped with any other continent.
